Happy LGBTQ+ History Month! The purpose of this is to recognises the current struggles faced by the LGBTQ+ community as well as events throughout history that have shaped society today, like the Stonewall Riots.
With all the backward steps and fear-mongering going on in USA at the moment (including revoking protective laws and trying to erase trans people) as well as in other countries, it’s so important, now more than ever, to see companies/people still willing to show support to the LGBTQ+ people and remind them they’re not alone. I’m proud that SFRS are willing to demonstrate this and stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ colleagues and communities.
