The Joker turns 75 years old this year, and in celebration of the iconic character who has terrorized Gotham City since 1940 in the comic book series Batman #1, this infographic shows how the Joker has evolved since his first appearance. Designed by HalloweenCostumes, the first joker was drawn as the face of Steeplechase, a funny face seen at the amusement park in Coney Island, it then slowly evolved into a sinister clown-like appearance.
It has other versions of the Joker through the year from the live action TV series to artist variations from Jerry Robinson, Frank Miller, Brian Bolland, to famous film roles from Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Mark Hamill in the Arkham game series, all the way up to the his future appearance in the Suicide Squad film!
